The Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a construction trend. The essence of BIM is to use the most modern state-of-the-art CAD and IT technologies during design, construction and operation processes enabling model-based project design and project control. The base of BIM working processes is 3D model built in a virtual environment, which refers to the technical content, the geometrical and structural mapping of the building in question.
